Over 50 years at your service
Founded in 1947 by a young, dynamic couple, Boulangerie St-Méthode Bakery
remains to this day a family owned and operated business. In 1975, the torch
was passed down to the next generation to their sons to administrate. This
transfer of power generated a new strategy based upon a better
understanding of consumers’ needs.
Now closer than ever
In 1997, Boulangerie St-Méthode Bakery celebrated its 50th anniversary and
to commemorate this jubilee occasion, the company inaugurated a new, healthy
image based upon distinction, packaging, products and a new corporate
mission. This allowed the company to propel the company’s growth and to
allow penetration into new market territories. Since then, their growth has
maintained above industry’s average.
2000
Boulangerie St-Méthode Bakery now offers 200 active products. By adding a
distribution center in Montreal, Boulangerie St-Méthode Bakery is now a
visible part of the metropolitan landscape.
2002
Boulangerie St-Méthode Bakery signs major agreements with all supermarket
chains throughout Québec thus strengthening existing ties between both
groups and allowing the bakery to obtain a presence on a provincial scale.
2003
50,000 loaves of bread come out everyday with the help & dedication of 200
full-time employees. Over 55 delivery zones are part of the bakery’s
distribution, and new ideas come up all the time!
A project to enhance the company’s equipment is underway. Moreover, new
computer software for administrating orders is presently being used. Agents
are being used in order to help develop sales in New England which will
allow to ensure healthy products on American shelves.
